Spring Registration Now Open!

Atascadero Little League Families

Registration for the Spring 2025 Little League Season is now open!  Go to Atascadero Little League and hit the REGISTER button at the top right to get started.  Registration Price is $175 per child (plus a $3 service fee) but, if you act soon, you can take advantage of the EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT: the price for all kids registered BEFORE January 1, 2025 is $125 (the discount will be given at the time of payment).  There is also a multi-player discount (each additional child pays a reduced rate) -- to take advantage of the multi-player discount you must register all kids at the same time.  For families seeking financial assistance we offer the Connor Fund Baseball Scholarship.  For information on how to obtain scholarship assistance, please send a message to [email protected].  Additional financial assistance is offered by the City of Atascadero through the Youth Activity Scholarship Fund.  You can download the form at Atown Youth Activity Scholarship.

One thing to be aware of: we will need to verify age at the time of registration.  You will be REQUIRED to upload a scan or photo of each player's BIRTH CERTIFICATE as part of the online registration process -- you won't be able to complete registration without doing so.

We also need coaches!  Make sure to register as a coach at the same time that you register your players.

IMPORTANT:  Make sure to read below for information on which division to register for.

Season Details

We will run FOUR divisions again this year: ROOKIE, FARM, MINORS, and MAJORS.  Please carefully read the descriptions below before proceeding to registration.  For more information on League Age, Divisions and Registration, please see our Frequently Asked Questions Page.

The ROOKIE division is for kids ages 5-6.  It provides a gentle introduction to baseball, teaching the fundamentals of catching, throwing and hitting.  This is a machine-pitch division.

The FARM division is for kids ages 7-8.  This is a machine-pitch division for players ready for a fun-filled baseball experience.  The focus is on the fundamentals: catching, throwing, hitting.

The MINORS division is for kids ages 8-11.  This is a kid-pitch division with a focus on skills development.

The minors division is subject to a draft.  Although most 8-year-olds will play in the farm division, 8-year-olds who attend assessments are eligible for minors (but will only "play up" if they are DRAFTED onto a minors team).  If your 8-year-old wants to play minors, then chose this division when you register -- be aware that this does not guarantee a spot in minors.  Also, 11-year-olds who are new to baseball have the option of playing in minors (choose this option if you want your player to be drafted onto a minors team).

The MAJORS division is for kids ages 10-12.  This is a kid-pitch division with a focus on skills development and learning the finer points of the game.  The majors division is subject to a draft.  Although most 10-year-olds will play minors, they are eligible for majors (but will only "play up" if they are DRAFTED onto a majors team).  If your 10-year-old is interested in playing minors, then choose this division when you register -- be aware that this does NOT guarantee a spot in majors.

Assessments will be will be held on Saturday, January 25.  Assessments are MANDATORY for all players who are League Age 9-12; assessments are OPTIONAL for players who are League Age 8.  (A player's LEAGUE AGE is their age on August 31, 2025.  See the League Age Chart for more details.)

Practices start in mid-February.  Farm and rookie teams will have 2 practices per week during this preseason period (days and times will be chosen by the coaches).  Minors and Majors will have 2-3 practices per week (days and times will be chosen by the coaches).

Opening Day is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 and the season runs through May 17.  Rookie and Farm teams will typically have 1 practice and 1 game per week.  Majors and minors teams will typically have 1 practice and 2 games per week.

See you on the diamond soon!
